Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, aka Snoop Dogg, is an iconic rapper and hip hop producer from the USA. He started out as an MC on the West Coast hip hop scene, and quickly became a protégé of Dr Dre. An icon that spans generations, Snoop Dogg is an legend in Gangsta Rap. He released his first album, Doggystyle, in 1993. It was the first rap album to hit the top of the Billboard 200, and went quadruple platinum within just a year of its release! Snoop Dogg released one hit after another, and has released almost 20 albums in his career. From Tha Doggfather to Ego Trippin’, on to 7 Days of Fynk and Bush, the giant of US rap is a real hit machine.
